and blends blends blends, I wish I knew how much of each kind was in a blend. For example, Kona Coffee Blend…umm how much real Kona is in there? Well, if you go by price, apparently not much!
I’m thinking of getting my dad a french press, but am afraid he’ll have to get all new coffee grounds since I read they require coarser grinds. Is that true? He has so many other coffee already ground up for his drip coffee maker. Thanks.
I love Dunkin Donuts coffee (when they pour it for you) but I bought one of their coffee bean bags so I could make it myself at home and it doesn’t taste the same. Do they even use these coffee beans? Or is there some kind of secret I’m missing?
McDonalds Australia recently released a new coffee blend made from 100% Arabica beans. Its now stronger and smoother. If you have tried it what do you think of it? Do you like it better than the old blend or better than other places such as Gloria Jeans?
I love the new taste and want to find out what others think of it!
I ask this question in the Christmas section because you always see gift packs with coffee beans and it’s not instant coffee. And I am always worried that the gift receipient doesn’t have a coffee maker.
A cup of coffee contains about three times as much caffeine as a cup of tea.. even though the caffeine content of tea leaves is greater than that of roasted coffe beans. Why?
Well in the directions it says to only use half of it then the other half. I didn't think that's what it meant by divided, and my mom insisted I look it up. 'xP
Thanks guys <.<
The coffee seems to taste better if you switch off the coffeemaker immediately after brewing and warm future cups in a microwave. If the coffee just sits there with the coffeemaker on a thin oily film develops on top and the coffee starts turning to tar ruining its taste and upsetting the stomach. Also brew from freshly ground whole beans taste heavenly when compared to the pre-ground stuff. Even the water makes a difference, tap water almost always ruins the taste while bottled water creates a better taste. Am I imagining things or you have noticed it too? Whats your secret for the best coffee?
I bought some dunkin donuts coffee beans and got my first coffee maker. It says to put in 1 tablespoon of ground coffee for every cup, but i have coffee beans. Does this mean i have to grind them up myself?
What do i need to do to have the coffee blend together with the ice, and not have it be so icy and slushy? Do i blend the ice first, then gradually add the coffee and cream? Add it all together? Any advice?
i noticed a big difference when i upgraded my coffee maker to a more expensive one. I was wondering other then the price whats the difference that makes the coffee taste. like how it brews or something mechanical in the machine.
yeah thats how i do it to.
I know it rains a lot there, so maybe that’s why people like to sit indoors with a cup of coffee. I was just curious where chains like Cafe Appassinato based in Seattle get their coffee beans. TIA
I've only ever drunk instant coffee and i'm far from a coffee connaisseur but I'd like to know more about coffee…. so if anyone would be able to tell me how to make coffee from beans that would be great… do I need a machine or is it just like instant? Thank you
I've been straining out the grounds with just a normal coffee filter. Both my husband and I think that we go through a lot more coffee than "normal" (slow-drip system) to achieve the desired strength. Is it possible that the lack of acidity is making us think the coffee is weaker?
I was shopping for organic coffee beans last night, and in one brand I found, the beans were wet inside the (clear) bag. Is this normal? They had several varieties and they were all slightly wet. I have read about wet processing, but could not find anything about them remaining wet after packaging.

SPOKANE VALLEY-- A small chimney fire started inside Barney's Harvest Foods after the coffee roaster was left on too long Thursday morning.
