oh baby doll! You are so kind! I know it was really hard when I lost my grandma (both of them)! You take care and keep your grandma close to your heart always and you’ll never go wrong following her advice. *big huge hugs*
I’ve been brewing French press for a while, using 8 O Clock, Community Coffee, and some African blends I picked up in Paris. What are your favorite French press coffees?
You know. Those ones where you put water in the bottom and the steam pressure pushes the hot water through the coffee which is then collected in the top.
I am converting from my usual 3-4 cups of brewed coffee a day to green tea. Yes, this was a new year’s resolution. So far it has been tough. The green tea only contains about 15mg of caffeine, versus 100 in a cup of coffee.
Anyone else tried this before? How did you quit and how did it go? What were some of the benefits? I have trouble sleeping, so I am hoping this will help.
Today is day number 2 of no coffee and I feel like crap. Sluggish, don’t want to do anything, even feel a bit anxious. How did you do it and what sensations did you have and how long did they last? Was it worth it?
At most coffee shops hot coffee is cheaper than iced coffee. Hot coffee is brewed and served with all the "fix ins" and can be brought for .40 (give or take).Iced coffee is cold coffee and tons of ice and sugar at the bottom of the cup for .50 or more. Whats up wit that? Paying more for less right?
we moved to the indy area a year ago from anchorage alaska we were able to find mjb coffee in the fred meyer stores which are assosiatted with kroger stores yet we are still without decent coffee
I was always under the impression that storing unused beans/grinds in the fridge served no purpose. I more recently bought a nice can of Lavazza and on their packaging it says to refrigerate after opening. Is this something i should consider as my goal is for maximum freshness?
I normally drink sugar-free vanilla nonfat lattes, however, since the weather is warming up I want a cold, blended vanilla coffee.
Oncer I was told, from a Starbuck’s barista, that the drink I wanted was a vanill frappucino - he made it for me and it was EXACTLY what I wanted.
However, since that time, I’ve ordered a vanilla frappucino from Starbucks and it’s not the same … I’ve had vanilla bean and also vanilla creme - neither of these have coffee/espresso in them - they taste like a vanilla shake.
I just need to know what to ask for so that I can have my cold, blended vanilla ‘latte’.
I FOUND OUT WHAT THE DRINK IS … IT’S A CAFFE’ VANILLA FRAPPUCINO. THANKS!
I have read that roasted coffee has lost its antioxidants in the roasting process. How can I roast my beans so I can get the good flavor without losing the antioxidants, like Caffe Sanora and their Healthyroast process?
Our favorite deep roasted coffee beans at the Peet’s factory are ready to be cooled off on a cooling tray! Recorded at the Peet’s Artisan Roastery Public Tour in Alameda, CA. PEET’s IS THE BEST!
Went to add coffee beans to my grinder, when I noticed a "token" corn kernal mixed in with the beans. Makes me wonder what elase might be lurking amongst the beans … Is corn used in any step of the coffee roasting process?? Could roasters be adding corn kernels to cheat the buyers on the weight of the product??? Hmmm ..

Today I went to Whole Foods and I bought a pound of organic
Allegro coffee, the "El Salvador" brand. I bought the beans and the clerk ground them for me.
I bought this coffee with the intent to use for my at home coffee enema but the brand i that i used last week (that was given to me by my colon therapist) had a beige/light brown color and it did not smell like coffee at all.
This Allegro El Savador organic brand is dark brown with beight specs and has a rich coffee aroma but I thought coffee used for enemas were light brown/beige color.
Did I purchase the correct type of coffee for my enema? Pls let me know…I want to make sure I’m doing this correctly by purchasing the correct organic brand for my coffee enema procedure.
i have been having to purchase lots of coffee pots during the last year, and now im looking towards the french press style. but i have no idea of the workings of them. does anyone use them and if so, are they worth the money to purchase and use compared to the normal elec coffee makers (which i have bad luck with to begin with). can anyone give me some advice as to which would be better. keep in mind that we drink coffee all day long.
i got a snapple cap saying a single coffee tree only produces about a pound of coffee beans per year is that true cause my sister got one saying 7 of these caps are fake and i dont think this cap is true
I am having a pink and brown wedding and was wanting to use in a jar for my centerpiece with coffee beans and light pink flowers but i cant finde a place to buy just plane coffee beans?????
I roast my own coffee beans. I also get purified water at a water store. The strange thing is that my fresh roasted coffee tastes great made with my tap water which is not purified or filtered, but made with the purified water it tastes so acidy that we can’t drink it. I have tried green bean coffee blends from two different companies……….with the same result. I want to use purified water, but I don’t like the coffee flavor I end up with. Any coffee experts out there that can help me? Any referals to a good green coffee bean that produces a good coffee flavor when used with purified water?
I can’t find it anywhere. If you know where I can find this picture, let me know. It’s just a picture of coffee beans and somewhere in the coffee beans is supposed to be a man. If you can give me a site that has this optical illusion, please let me know.
I can’t believe I wasted 5 points asking this question. I googled it myself too, before I got any answers here, and found it. I just typed in the wrong thing. Thanks for your answers anyway.

I have a Mr. Coffee (Mr. Tea) Ice Tea machine. I was in a hurry today and picked up Cold Brew family sized ice tea blend tea bags. Anyone think I’ll have problems using them, considering the machine is going to brew it hot? Is there that much difference?
