Here in Austin, TX we have very hard water and my coffee maker has slowed waaaayyyyy down.
I have a Mr. Coffee coffee maker it cost me .00 and it was wonderful at first but now it is sloooowww.

It has a feature to let you know when the coffee is done…it beeps 8 times. But now, it beeps even though it’s not even close to being done.

Would it be better if I would use distilled water?

some leaves on my gardenia are becoming yellow, and the leaves are becoming pale (not all the leaves).
I water it everyday, and used some coffee beans to keep the ph a bit high.
what can I do to keep my plant healthy and green, without using chemicals, I mean the organic way.

I own a restaurant and I use a Coffee maker to make Coffee. It works great for about a month and work pretty good for a week or 2 after that but after that it takes forever to make Coffee. Sometimes it take a hour to make Coffee. I’m tried of buying new Coffee makers every 2 months, I need help and I would really appreciate it. God Bless and thanks 2 all.

I want to make iced coffee at home, but I do not own a coffee maker. What is the best inexpensive kind to buy? What else will I need?

….noticed a difference? I eat fairly healthy to begin with. But I’m on a budget,so I dare not buy organic. My main diet consists of:
-chicken
-salads
-tomato
-onion
-banana
-apple
-orange
-cilantro
-avocado
-grain breads
-eggs
-oatmeal
-little brown rice
-soymilk
-tons of water
-yogurt
-popcorn kernels (ok let me explain this lol…i need snack once in a while but i dont buy those processed bags..I pop the kernels in a pan and put on some sea salt
-tuna
-salmon
-shrimp
-lobster
-almonds
-soups
-potatoes
-corn
-carrots
-kiwis
-pears
-sugar snap peas
-diff beans

Sort of along those lines..and TONS of water. If I’m going to have a coke or sugar in my coffee, I go with real sugar. But this is a rare occurence..maybe when I’m PMSing..I know that’s bad..but I’m pretty healthy..I usually only crave water.

I just want to know…did any of you kind of eat like me..and then just start buying organic, the same stuff you know? Did you "feel" a difference? I sometimes think CERTAIN companies are just paying off the govt to stamp organic on their food. I know people are like " oh no they cant do that theyll get in trouble" but i dont think anyone realizes how corrupt this country can be. So while im sure most organic food IS organic…i just wanna get feedback.

Since it’s SO expensive, my idea is that I will start buying small quantities of HIGH quality organic food. I’m starting to eat less since I’m dieting anyway. This will balance it out. :-).

Honestly..did you notice ANY difference at all after buying organic? Please just be honest. I still buy organic on sale..I just want honesty. Thanks a lot!

PS. I suffer from depression, adhd, anxiety, and OCD. Mostly just depression..so I’m trying to see if I can sort of get myself back to being healthy as naturally as possible. If that fails THEN I may seek medical attention

When I say battery powered, I mean that it doesn’t need to be plugged in anywhere.

I thought about a box of coffe cups and mugs that could come along as an offer with the coffee machine but then again, most of the cafe’s such as starbucks(who would be my target market to see the machines to) have their own cups and mugs, why would they be interested in my offer?

Hi, We are starting a much needed expresso,internet,bagel cafe that is on pacific ocean in Costa Rica. There is a large shady Papaturro tree in the back courtyard of place so we thought about calling it "Papaturro’s" It is a coffee tree and the one we have doesn’t produce beans. We will be getting out coffee from a 700 family farm cooperative called Dota. Our non yeilding coffee tree is only for shade and asthetics. We are getting ready to open and need to put the right name of business on permit from city. We are going to serve organic green beans, bageles, fresh juice and offer high speed internet as well as access to international calls over broadband. We will also feature oil paintings from residents and will play light chiled out electric jazz. Any suggestions for a cool name would be appreciated. Most of the business’s here are names after tropical things, like monkey, iguana, rainforest, harbor reef…so those kinds of names are off the drawing board.

I dont know anything about coffee but my husband wants a coffee maker. So i was thinking of buying a black and decker on (costs ) and then buying him a mug and as well some nice coffee beans from starbucks to make a "whole package" type of gift. So my question is…does the black and decker ones use beans or the powder? do i have to buy a coffee grinder as well? id ont understand

No animal products of any kind. No animal product derivatives (eggs, dairy). No highly processed foods, no flour, no HFCS.
None of that fake-oh crap where they shape soy to look like chicken nuggets.

Basically you just eat fresh fruit and veggies (does not have to be local or organic) which can be cooked or not. Then you add in a little bit of things like beans, sprouted no-flour bread, and artisan products like dried fruit, coffee, dehydrated cuke chips, non-dairy cocoa. I imagine it as bascially a kind of pre-industrial vegetarian?

But I don’t know what to call it so I am having A REALLY HARD TIME finding anybody else doing this! What do you call this style of eating? HELP! Hunter, vegan, organic, all wrong.

I was talking to a friend who said she saw something on tv about an expensive gourmet coffee made from Lemur excrement. If anyone has a link to a website about this coffee, I’d really appreciate it. I was telling another friend about it and he thinks I made it up.
