Considering the cost for the machine putting sugar in my coffee I think I would consider a almost-all-in-one type machine. I have a Capresso by Jura. I like it a lot. I can do cappuccino, latte, espresso, and tea. Since it does hot water I can make hot cocoa for the kids too.

Besides, do you really want a vending machine in your kitchen?

If this is for personal use keep in mind that vending machines that are not used frequently enough will tend to develop issues with the products coagulating and blocking the mixers. You must top up with fresh product regularly....use special milk powders....and clean the mixers regularly.

My advice would be to look for a one position cappuccino such a the Saeco Primea, DeLonghi Prima Donna WMF1000 or the Jura Z5. They use fresh milk rather than powdered and the coffee can taste so much better. You should never use flavoured beans as they can block the grinder, so you will need to add the flavor afterwards. Plus you will have to add your own sugar. However, they are easy to clean.

There is no such thing as a labour free coffee machine. They all need regular cleaning and care. So if the reason you want an ALL-in-one is because you feel the others are hard work, then owning a coffee machine might not be right for you.

I work for a coffee machine service centre and 90% of the problems we see are due to lack of maintenance. We see cockroaches breeding and even maggots in the milk frother.
