Anyone quit coffee cold turkey?
I am converting from my usual 3-4 cups of brewed coffee a day to green tea. Yes, this was a new year’s resolution. So far it has been tough. The green tea only contains about 15mg of caffeine, versus 100 in a cup of coffee.
Anyone else tried this before? How did you quit and how did it go? What were some of the benefits? I have trouble sleeping, so I am hoping this will help.
Today is day number 2 of no coffee and I feel like crap. Sluggish, don’t want to do anything, even feel a bit anxious. How did you do it and what sensations did you have and how long did they last? Was it worth it?

Yes! Not even a week later I got the worst migraine of my life from not having the caffeine. I reccomend taking it in stages so that you don’t go through withdrawl. It was awful- I kept passing out, getting sick, my head was pounding, etc. Good luck!
try taking the 3-4 cups a day and changing it to 2 cups and replace the 3rd and 4th with tea. and then keep on replacing the coffee untiill it is all tea.
