I know there’s frapacchinus (sp?), lattes, and alot more different types of cofee. I’m not sure what they are exactly. Are they just the way the coffee was made? I made coffee and let it chill overnight in the fridge. Then I put ice in the blender and poured the coffee in and blended it all up. What would that be called?

i never drank coffee till recently, and don’t know what are the best blends to get. when i was in hawaii this summer, i had 100%kona coffee- it was the smoothest stuff ever. but here on the mainland, you can’t buy coffee with more than 10% kona. what are some other good blends? somalian? columbian? i see all these at the store but don’t know if they’re any good.

Some of the lyrics are;
Me and you just singing on the train,
me and you listening to the rain,
me and you we are the same,
me and you have all the fame… we need,
indeed you and me… are we…
And that’s all I know.
Can someone please tell me what it is?

I want a coffee that tastes good but has low acidity and that tastes like Starbucks’ breakfast blend but is cheaper.
I’d like it to taste sort of like Starbucks’ coffee but not as burnt, and Seattle’s Best coffee tastes like cardboard to me.

I hate hot coffee or hot teas so if I go to starbucks or a coffee house it has to be frozen blended deal.
I noticed at "Its a grind" its all powder, no liquid coffee.
I usually go thru the drive thru so does starbucks use powder or actual coffee?
I NEED CAFFENIE!! I’m going over there in a few so what is my best hope for a JOLT!!

I like the Breakfast Blend but would like to try something else. Usualy I like the Mild blends. I don’t want anything that tastes like the House Blend. I’m using it in a French Press.

I normally drink sugar-free vanilla nonfat lattes, however, since the weather is warming up I want a cold, blended vanilla coffee.
Oncer I was told, from a Starbuck’s barista, that the drink I wanted was a vanill frappucino - he made it for me and it was EXACTLY what I wanted.
However, since that time, I’ve ordered a vanilla frappucino from Starbucks and it’s not the same … I’ve had vanilla bean and also vanilla creme - neither of these have coffee/espresso in them - they taste like a vanilla shake.
I just need to know what to ask for so that I can have my cold, blended vanilla ‘latte’.
I FOUND OUT WHAT THE DRINK IS … IT’S A CAFFE’ VANILLA FRAPPUCINO. THANKS!

I roast my own coffee beans. I also get purified water at a water store. The strange thing is that my fresh roasted coffee tastes great made with my tap water which is not purified or filtered, but made with the purified water it tastes so acidy that we can’t drink it. I have tried green bean coffee blends from two different companies……….with the same result. I want to use purified water, but I don’t like the coffee flavor I end up with. Any coffee experts out there that can help me? Any referals to a good green coffee bean that produces a good coffee flavor when used with purified water?

My vote is for Au Bon Pain. The combination of Morning Blend coffee with light cream can’t touch Dunkin’ Donuts blend.

I’m lactose-intolerant, so if the recipe did not call for dairy, that would be better, but I would still accept some that use a small amount. I’m a college student and can’t afford to go to starbucks everyday and am looking for a cheaper at-home alternative to their frappachinnos. Thanks!

I’m about to sign up for the intro offer from Gevalia where you buy 2 of their coffees for .95 and you get a free coffeemaker, mugs, and scoop. I don’t know which 2 types of Gevalia coffee to try, though. To give you an idea of the type of coffee I like, my favorite coffee anywhere is Seattle’s Best (bright) Blend. I don’t care for flavored coffees, and I tend to like the lighter roasts better. Which 2 types of Gevalia coffee should I try?

most of the time, i can only tell a weak coffee from strong? LOL
even there are differences, i can’t recognize that same coffee again, is this weird? or just me? can you really tell the differences?
i can definately tell a good coffee than, say, folger, but, within those "good coffee" what blend/beans make very little distinction for me…

I recently purchased the turkish coffee pot and a bag of the finely ground coffee used for making it. I’m already about to run out of the coffee and I’m wondering what kind of roast I should get. The last coffee I got was actually imported from turkey. Is it necessary to use a blend of coffee that is imported from turkey or is it the way the coffee is made that makes it turkish? Any suggestions from people who know what they are talking about would be helpful.
