We have a deluxe coffee maker that heats the water. We when drank the hot chocolate it tasted very watered down, adding milk instead of water would definetly make it better but is it okay to put it in the machine?

I don’t drink coffee, but my fiance does. I make him coffee in the morning, but the filters always end up falling over inside the coffee maker and the grounds sometimes get in the coffee pot.
