At the university i go to there is a wolfgang puck vending machine that can serve about 10 different kinds of hot coffee related drinks, it asks you how much sugar how much creamer and how strong you want your coffee to be. i really want to get a coffee maker like this!! Ive done some research but i cant seem to find any all in one coffee machines that put sugar in your coffee for you, other than that they seem to have all the same functions.

I was just at Wal-Mart looking for a new coffee maker (im not an avid drinker, just occasional, so i don’t know the "lingo" yet.) and i saw a 12-cup coffee maker from BUNN for .00
I bought a 12-cup coffee maker from GE for .99
Whats the difference? Does BUNN have some kind of technological secret that makes heating up water some how better?
After all, i don’t see how you can get better coffee without better grounds. A coffee pot just heats water, no?

I sometimes urinate or release other bodily fluids into the water reservoir of the coffee makers in hotel rooms. Do you think this is wrong? I suspect I’m not the only person who does this.

I’ve noticed that some gas stations have pennies on the hot plates of their coffee makers. Is there some kind of chemical purpose to this? Does it keep the hot plate from overheating/warping/losing its teflon coating? If so, should I do it at home?

I have heard a rumor that in order to make the hottest coffee you must poor in very cold water. If you poor in room temperature water the coffee will in fact be cooler. This seems counter-intuitive to me but i have an elementary understanding of coffee makers at best.

Coffee makers and kettles eventually become clogged with a build up of "scale" from deposits of calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate.

Our company is switching from Starbucks to a local brewer whose coffee is so weak I cannot even taste it. I want to get a single serve machine to keep in my office. I don’t drink coffee every day, but when I do I want it to be tasty.
My last company has Keurig machines, and I never found a coffee that I liked. Any recommendations on other systems? Thanks.

I used to make ice coffee all the time. I got this new Keurig coffee maker that all you need to do is put these tiny cups already packaged and ready to go in the machine and press brew and it does it for you. It makes good coffee. It does have a ice Coffee icon but I when I press it, it makes the coffee the same way but not as hot and not strong enough for ice coffee. Does anybody know how to make ice coffee using this machine?

I already know the obvious, ramen, mac & cheese, vegetables, oatmeal, soup, pasta, rice, hot cocoa.. coffee obviously, I heard that you can make pancakes on the warmer part, but I’ve looked all through what Mr. Google says and can find very little information on the topic. Does anyone else know what you can make? And I know i could just get a hotplate, but I’m moving around and want to find that one small appliance that can do anything, and I believe the coffee maker is it!

Every time i brew a pot of coffee, the smell it gives off is horrible! The odor itself is coming from the steam. After it’s done brewing, the coffee tastes fine and the pot doesn’t seem to smell. How do i clean a coffee maker to possibly rid of this smell?

Is there an easy way to make coffee (to end up as iced coffee) without a maker?
