I was talking to a friend who said she saw something on tv about an expensive gourmet coffee made from Lemur excrement. If anyone has a link to a website about this coffee, I’d really appreciate it. I was telling another friend about it and he thinks I made it up.

I have Cambridge Gourmet Coffee, Carmel French Vanilla flavor, and Coffee-mate creamer - original. So my question is how much carmel french vanilla stuff do I put in the filter? I only need some for about 2 coffee cups worth, also how much of creamer and sugar do i put in? Thx for your help, and if you can’t tell this is my first time drinking coffee.

I’m looking for some suggestions for good coffee to give as a gift. The person really doesn’t care for Starbucks, and I’d really like to give a variety pack of nice coffee. Also, any good decaf blends would be great too!

I’m thinking about opening a gourmet coffee house in my area and need a good name. A name that will catch attention but also is clear that the business involves coffee (espresso). I’ve played with the idea of using my name (Tammy’s …..) but it doesn’t seem very "coffee" to me! I appreciate any and all suggestions! Thanks!
I would like it to be a combination of a place that you can pick up and go but also a trendy, comfortable atmosphere that you can hang out at, read, play chess and socialize. When I make coffee using my regular coffee maker, I use one tablespoon ground coffee per two cups of water. I used to work at a gourmet coffee shop and this is how we did it. I just can’t get a nice dark cup of coffee using my french press. What is your water to grounds ratio?
I know you are supposed to use fresh coarse ground coffee.
and water just off a boil.

I read on this site that a ‘burr’ style of coffee grinder should be used over a ‘blade’ type to get a more consistent grind. What type of grinder is usually used in the gourmet coffee section of the grocery store where you grind your own beans?

Yes, I did check the McDonald’s website. They have all information except the caffeine amount.
I sent them an email yesterday and they replied saying that they don’t measure the caffeine content. I would think that was pretty important information that they should have.
