How long does it take for coffee beans to decay?
I’m doing a Science project about used coffee beans. I need them to decay. How long does that take?
they were ground, we will compost them, i live in the philippines and we have to do 3 set-ups, 1 plain, 1 soaked in water, 1 soaked in vinegar for our science project

The times will vary depending on the temperature, humidity, and condition and size of the beans. Were they roasted, were they ground? Are they spread out evenly or dumped in a pile? Lots of variables; too many to be able to answer. Get your conditions defined, and then do some experimenting.
