How to descaling a coffee maker?
I need to descaling a coffee maker. I heard that baking soda and vinegar could be useful, but I do not have the proportions and instructions.

Use white vinegar and baking soda.In a measuring cup add 1/2 cup of vinegar then add baking soda until it is the consistency of paste.Rub this mixture on the inside of both the pot and basket.Run through dishwasher cycle. If there are still spots on either use paste and rub with cloth on inside and outside of pot till all stains are gone.Use a toothbrush on the basket and brush with the paste and then wash both clean. Before use run through a complete cycle on your coffee maker to make sure it is clean.
You can buy products specifically marketed for this task, or buy some white vinegar and mix it 50/50 with water and run it thru the normal cycle. Make sure you run clear water thru the normal cycle at least twice after that.
white vinegar Run it thru the cycle with a filter. twice and run clear water afterwards until your filter stays white
