Is it safe to pour hot water into coffee maker?
I have a drip coffee maker, and I never drink coffee that much, so I’m not an expert on coffee makers. But when pouring water in the coffee make to make the coffee, should that water be hot or cold? a few days ago i poured really hot water (almost boiling) into it before making it. I was just wondering if the hot water could ruin the maker or if its safe for the coffee?

it seems that it would be ok since the part where you pour the hot water actually gets steaming hot, so I think it’s ok. The only concern I have would be the "shock" to some of the parts inside since they’re not used to hot water being poured in there. It gets hot over time, but I think it would be ok.
Yes!
and did it??
It can crack it,use cold/luke warm water.
yes, because it needs hot water.
I’m betting that it is safe, but something to keep in mind is that for an electric coffee maker if you read the instructions on most coffee labels it will tell you to brew with cold water for the best tasting pot.
