What kind of coffee do you brew at home?
*Why? Just curious what others are drinking AT HOME
*Also, if you brew your espresso, what kind do you use and what level do you set your grinder on for coffee vs espresso (course & fine) I have a bunn grinder with 10 levels of courseness and I just can’t seem to get it right…

I like Jamaican Blue or Foglifter (from Millstone).
If you have a flat bottom filter you would grind at the 6 or 7 level.
7 or 8 for a cone shaped filter
and 9 or 10 for expresso
I like the Kroger brand regular coffee. I also add hazelnut creamer with it.
I like instant decaffeinated coffee.

Folgers has been our fave for a couple of years now!
Boring folgers coffee..black extra strong.
The only brew that I have at home is beer.
Folgers coffee most of the time. We have found that steeping 2 scoops in a three cup French press from 30 – 60 seconds returns the best results. Any longer than that and it the flavor goes downhill. If we grind our own coffee then we up the steep time to about 5 minutes and increase the grounds.

Folgers or sometimes I buy some Godiva Coffee it’s delicious. Almost like having coffee from starbucks.
I owned a coffeehouse, and I had a pro espresso grinder.
I used the same grind for drip coffee too, but made sure I always used the paper filters.
Espresso always has to be FINE FINE FINE.
For drip coffee, I grind dunkin’ donuts original beans. I love it.
Make sure you are using a cone-shaped filter coffeemaker (like krups or other similar). Those mr.coffee flat basket machines make the WORST coffee. I would rather have percolated coffee than the mr. coffee crap.
For espresso, it is according to taste. I didn’t like just plain old french roast. It was too skunky smelling. I mixed about half french roast and half regular roast, and sometimes put in a couple flavored beans.
I like sumatra, java and colombian all mixed together, AND the varied roasts. Just keep mixing it. It took me 6 months to develop the right blend for my coffeehouse, and I used it for both espresso and drip coffee, and people loved it.
