Where can I find fresh organic ground espresso near Berkeley?
shade grown and fair trade are bonuses!
PS: I dont drink regular/brewed coffee…it has to be espresso. I usually ask local cafes to grind a lb for me to make at home, but ive yet to find any that had organic xept this nasty vegan place…did not taste like coffee at ALL!!!!!! :)

The Beanery on College Ave. between Russell Ave. and Ashby Ave. They have great coffee, including Fair Trade and/or Organic.
Try their espresso first and see if you like it.
Also, there’s Royal Grounds on College Ave. at Alcatraz (near the Safeway). It’s in Rockridge(Oakland) just adjacent to Berkeley.
The 51 AC Transit runs to both cafés.
